This weekend’s rides: Cozy Cove with special guest Chris Kraus! Red Horn!

SRC,

Saturday our good old friend Christopher Kraus will be joining us! Let’s remind him about our fantastic hills with the Cozy Cove / Bee Creek ride! It is about 62 miles of hilly fun (https://www.strava.com/routes/3985679). To borrow from Bat City, this is our “fast pace” ride. After the ride we grab burgers and beer at Lakeside next door to the start so be sure to put that in your plans!

Sunday is our usual Coffee Shop ride to Red Horn. It is 50 miles and is at a more relaxed social pace than our Saturday rides, but we typically finish with a 17mph average speed overall. While we make great efforts to keep the group together, this is NOT a no drop ride. If you cannot hang with the group after repeated regrouping, you may get dropped. Red Horn is 20 miles away and is where we stop for coffee, breakfast tacos, pastries, and socializing before finishing the rest of the ride. The route can be found here: https://www.strava.com/routes/4736117. This is our “endurance pace” ride.

Both rides leave from Cups & Cones at 7:30 am. Come early on Saturdays to grab some coffee, kolaches, and donuts!

See you soon!
Thomas

This weekend’s rides: Pflugerville Loop! Red Horn!

It has been a rainy week with lots of indoor riding, but the weather tomorrow so far looks good — keep your fingers crossed! Tomorrow we will do a lap around Pflugerville which is about 65 miles (route: https://www.strava.com/routes/3955052). Afterward we can either hit Lakeside as usual for discounted burgers and beer, or head over to the Oasis Brewery which is having a tap party with live music and food starting at noon. Allow yourself some post-ride time to hang out with us. We will decide on post ride activities during the ride.
