This weekend’s rides: MJ Dam Loop! Red Horn! 7am Start!

SRC,

NOTE: The start time discussion has been rough, and close. For now, we will remain at 7am start time, but this will likely revert back to 7:30 soon.

Saturday lets make our bikes go really, really fast in a lap around Lake Austin. The route is 62 miles and stops briefly at Mellow Johnny’s where that no talent ass clown sells stuff. The route is here: https://www.strava.com/routes/10498583 . After the ride we meet up at Lakeside for some discounted burgers and beer!

Sunday is our usual Coffee Shop ride to Red Horn. It is 50 miles and is at an endurance pace typically finishing around a 17mph average speed overall. While we make great efforts to keep the group together, this is NOT a no drop ride. If you cannot hang with the group after repeated regrouping, you may get dropped. Red Horn is 20 miles away and is where we stop for coffee, breakfast tacos, pastries, and socializing before finishing the rest of the ride. The route can be found here: https://www.strava.com/routes/4736117 .

Both rides leave from Cups & Cones at 7:00 am. Come early on Saturdays to grab some coffee, kolaches, and donuts! Support our local ride start shop!

See you soon!

This weekend’s rides: Round Mountain! Lamppost! *7am start*

Saturday we will make our bikes go really fast while we do a Liberty Hill lollipop that includes all of Round Mountain. The ride is about 60 miles and can be found here: https://www.strava.com/routes/7664897. Since Lakeside will be closed Saturday morning, we will instead end our ride at the food trailer park near 2222 and 620. Rock Rose is there with cold AC and refreshments to go along with your Mighty Fine burger, smoothie, or whatever.

Sunday is our usual Coffee Shop ride. Our destination will be Lamppost Coffee in Round Rock. The route is 50 miles and takes us to Lamppost Coffee in Round Rock. The route is here: https://www.strava.com/routes/11766829 . This ride is ‘endurance pace’ and friendly. This means the entire ride should roughly be about 17mph average and we will try to keep everyone together, but it is still classified as a ‘drop ride’. If you cannot hang with the group after repeated regrouping, you may get dropped. We stop at the shop for coffee, breakfast tacos, pastries, and socializing before finishing the rest of the ride.

Both rides leave from Cups & Cones at 7:00 am. Come early on Saturdays to grab some coffee, kolaches, and donuts! Support our local ride start shop!

See you soon!
