This weekend’s rides: Liberty Hill! Lamppost (anti-clockwise)!

Saturday’s weather is looking better! Let’s head up to Liberty Hill for a breakfast taco! The route is 67 miles and can be found here: https://www.strava.com/routes/8561400 . After the ride we meet up at Lakeside for some discounted burgers and beer!

Sunday is our usual Coffee Shop ride. Our destination will be Lamppost Coffee in Round Rock. The route is 50 miles and takes us to Lamppost Coffee in Round Rock. The route is here: https://www.strava.com/routes/11766829 . This ride is ‘endurance pace’ and friendly by SRC standards. This means the entire ride should roughly be about 17mph average and we will try to keep everyone together, but it is still classified as a ‘drop ride’. If you cannot hang with the group after repeated regrouping, you may get dropped. We stop at the shop for coffee, breakfast tacos, pastries, and socializing before finishing the rest of the ride.

Both rides leave from Cups & Cones at 7:30 am. Come early on Saturdays to grab some coffee, kolaches, and donuts! Support our local ride start shop!

See you soon!

This weekend’s rides: Bob Brown Farewell Ride! Lamppost Coffee!

Saturday we will ride with our pal Bob Brown for one last time since he is moving (ok, he may join us for some of the bigger area ride events like Livestrong, but not for our weekends). Our route will take us up Mt. Bonnell, over to Mellow Johnny’s for a coffee, to Cuernavaca, and back to Steiner. The route is 62 miles and can be found here: https://www.strava.com/routes/10498583. After the ride we meet up at Lakeside for some discounted burgers and beer!
