8/15 & 8/16 Rides: Oasis Brewery and Red Horn!

SRC,

Saturday will be the 3rd one of the month, and that means the return of the Oasis Brewery Ride! The ride departs from Cups & Cones at 7:30am and heads out Lakeline Blvd, through the new section, to Nameless, then Round Mountain, and stops at the Liberty Hill store for a break. From there we head back but stop at the Oasis Brewery for some beer and friends. Jason will be leading another group which will probably take a shorter path at a more relaxed pace. I won’t be able to make it this time, but Stuart will and will lead the A group. Let’s see if they can break last month’s nearly 20mph average speed! Route is here: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/836957867

Sunday is the Coffee Shop Ride where we ride from Cups & Cones at 7:30am to Red Horn Coffee House & Brewing Company for some caffeine, pastries, and socializing. The ride is 50 miles at a relaxed pace. Those wanting to limit the ride to 36 miles can just turn around at Red Horn and head straight back.

See you out there!

8/8 & 8/9 rides! New Pflugerville route! Red Horn! SWEAT!

SRC,

Great news! We have found a way to rid your body of much of that ‘water’ and ‘salt’ by sweating your asses off with us on a new route! Our very own and lovely Stuart has spent most of his day carefully crafting a route that he personally promises will be free of any defects or surprises. It will take us from our usual Cups & Cones at 7:30am out and around Pflugerville and back to end at Lakeside Pizza & Grill (next door to Cups & Cones) where we will relive the flawless experience over some beers and burgers. The route is around 78 miles and mostly flat (for the route see this link. There will also be a second group which will take a shorter route at a more comfortable pace. Ending the Saturday rides at Lakeside is kinda a new thing, and last Saturday was very fun with many riders talking shop and sharing war stories.
