This weekend’s rides: Pflugerville Loop! Red Horn!

It has been a rainy week with lots of indoor riding, but the weather tomorrow so far looks good — keep your fingers crossed! Tomorrow we will do a lap around Pflugerville which is about 65 miles (route: https://www.strava.com/routes/3955052). Afterward we can either hit Lakeside as usual for discounted burgers and beer, or head over to the Oasis Brewery which is having a tap party with live music and food starting at noon. Allow yourself some post-ride time to hang out with us. We will decide on post ride activities during the ride.

Sunday is our usual Coffee Shop ride to Red Horn. It is 50 miles and is at a more relaxed social pace than our Saturday rides, but we typically finish with a 17mph average speed overall. While we make great efforts to keep the group together, this is NOT a no drop ride. If you cannot hang with the group after repeated regrouping, you may get dropped. Red Horn is 20 miles away and is where we stop for coffee, breakfast tacos, pastries, and socializing before finishing the rest of the ride.

Both rides leave from Cups & Cones at 7:30 am. Come early and grab some coffee and donuts and support this local mom & pop store!

See you soon!
