This weekend’s rides: Bee Creek! Red Horn!

SRC,

First a brief update on our 2016 kits. Brandon has some cool design updates coming! Our next vendor will also be able to provide accessories and outerwear that conforms to the design (arm warmers, jackets, etc.). Start saving your pennies! More details will come in a month or so.

This weekend’s weather is looking good! Saturday let’s go check out some of the HILL country on our Bee Creek route (https://www.strava.com/routes/3985679). As usual, we will hang out at Lakeside for discounted burgers and beer afterward.

Sunday is our usual Coffee Shop ride to Red Horn. It is 50 miles and is at a more relaxed social pace than our Saturday rides, but we typically finish with a 17mph average speed overall. While we make great efforts to keep the group together, this is NOT a no drop ride. If you cannot hang with the group after repeated regrouping, you may get dropped. Red Horn is 18 miles away and is where we stop for coffee, breakfast tacos, pastries, and socializing before finishing the rest of the ride.

Both rides leave from Cups & Cones at 7:30 am. Come early on Saturdays to grab some coffee, kolaches, and donuts!

See you soon!
Thomas

Saturday Ride Route Change

Due to expected high winds out of the North, we will change our ride to a Liberty Hill + Round Mountain route around 75 miles (the ride can be cut to shorter distances for those that don’t have the time). This will essentially allow for the second half of the ride to be badass and segment wrecking.

See you tomorrow!

Thomas
