After last week’s hilly-as-hell Real Ale ride, let’s shoot for a flat-ish route and head up to Liberty Hill. Rather than nailing down the route exactly as usual, let’s leave a little bit of flexibility in our route so we can maybe avoid some of Ronald Reagan or find some new routes based on expertise from those that show. I expect the route to be around 65 miles or so and something like this: . As always, join us for discounted burgers and beer at Lakeside after the ride!
Sunday is our usual Coffee Shop ride to Red Horn (https://www.strava.com/routes/4736117). It is 50 miles and is at a more relaxed social pace than our Saturday rides, but we typically finish with a 17mph average speed overall. While we make great efforts to keep the group together, this is NOT a no drop ride. If you cannot hang with the group after repeated regrouping, you may get dropped. Red Horn is 20 miles away and is where we stop for coffee, breakfast tacos, pastries, and socializing before finishing the rest of the ride.
Both rides leave from Cups & Cones at 7:30 am. Come early on Saturdays to grab some coffee, kolaches, and donuts!
See you soon!
