Saturday we have a special treat! We will do the 65 mile Pflugerville Loop (https://www.strava.com/routes/3955052), then end at the Oasis Brewery for some post ride chillaxin. The weather looks good and not too hot. Woot!

Sunday is our more casual Coffee Shop ride that will take us to Russell’s for some awesome pastries and coffee. The route is 50 miles and can be found here: https://www.strava.com/routes/9745451 . This ride is at an endurance pace typically finishing around a 17mph average speed overall. While we make great efforts to keep the group together, this is NOT a no drop ride. If you cannot hang with the group after repeated regrouping, you may get dropped.

Both rides leave from Cups & Cones at 7:30 am. Come early on Saturdays to grab some coffee, kolaches, and donuts! Support our local ride start shop!

These are the highlights of this 2017 SRC Kit Store:

– The bibs are now pre-dyed fabric whereas the previous ones were all white that we did a full color print on. This lead to ‘grinning’ effects where some white could show through.
– The white kit (jersey and arm coolers) are for summer days and should help keep us cool. These should be considered ‘extra’ kits and not primary. You dont wanna be that guy that is wearing white while everyone else is in blue.
– The subtle blue water effect on the various pieces has been made less subtle.
– Of course, socks. The numerous requests for higher socks in more appropriate cycling materials have been addressed.
– The collar of our jerseys have the kit year on them… they now show 17
