It is time for our new SRC kits! Fit parties are *this week*!

We have selected the vendor for our next generation kits: Eliel (http://www.elielcycling.com)! This week we will have two sessions for you to come check out the jerseys and bibs and try them on. This is your only opportunity to be sure of your size. We will be placing orders a few weeks later and you will want to be sure of your sizes!

Both sessions will be at the UT Golf Club (probably outside near the bar) at 5:30pm. First session is Wednesday which is more awesomer cuz it will be happy hour the whole time. Second session is Friday. Be sure to wear tight fitting underwear (no going commando while trying them on). The club has legit locker rooms for changing.

Please RSVP to the appropriate Wednesday or Friday event on the SRC Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/SteinerRanchCycling/). You can come to both sessions if you just wanna hang out or get a second look.

These new kits are going to look super awesome. The design will be similar to our current kits to preserve the brand, but Brandon has some excellent plans for a design refresh. Who knows… he may show up with a sneak preview.

LADIES: you can select true women’s sizes!

We will also have a bunch of other outer wear options to look at (arm warmers, hats, knee warmers, jackets, vests, etc).

See you all soon!

This weekend’s rides: Big Lime Creek Reverse Loop! Red Horn — NEW ROUTE!

SRC,

Currently Saturday’s weather looks great while Sunday’s is questionable. Regardless we have some great new routes this weekend (courtesy of Max again).

Saturday we will ride a 61 mile loop up north that comes back down the Triple Bs and includes that nice new section of Lakeline Blvd. The full route is here: https://www.strava.com/routes/4732205 (note that unless you are logged in, the route will show in kilometers). Afterwards we meet up at Lakeside for some discounted burgers and beer!

Sunday is our usual Coffee Shop ride to Red Horn, but this week we have a new route: https://www.strava.com/routes/4736117 ! It is just under 50 miles and is at a more relaxed social pace than our Saturday rides, but we typically finish with a 17mph average speed overall. While we make great efforts to keep the group together, this is NOT a no drop ride. If you cannot hang with the group after repeated regrouping, you may get dropped. Red Horn is 19 miles away and is where we stop for coffee, breakfast tacos, pastries, and socializing before finishing the rest of the ride.

Both rides leave from Cups & Cones at 7:30 am. Come early on Saturdays to grab some coffee, kolaches, and donuts!

See you soon!
