This weekend’s rides: Triple Bs! Red Horn! Bike Mechanic on Sunday!

SRC,

This weekend’s weather looks great! On Saturday let’s tackle them lovely ladies that we know as the Triple Bs! The route can be found here: https://www.strava.com/activities/380133689. Afterward we can hit Lakeside Pizza & Grill for some discounted burgers and beer.

Sunday is our usual Coffee Shop ride to Red Horn. It is 50 miles and is at a more relaxed pace than our Saturday rides, but we typically finish with a 17mph average speed overall. While we make great efforts to keep the group together, this is NOT a no drop ride. If you cannot hang with the group after repeated regrouping, you may get dropped. Red Horn is 18 miles away and is where we stop for coffee, breakfast tacos, pastries, and socializing before finishing the rest of the ride. Depart from Cups & Cones at 8:30 am.

Sunday Special Note: Drew Kolb, with Revolution Mobile Bike Repair (http://www.RevRepair.com) will join us 1 hour before our Sunday ride at Cups & Cones to provide free basic adjustments and inspection of your steed. Drew is a Shimano Certified mechanic and has 6+ years of retail and mechanic experience. He has all Shimano’s available Certifications, including Di2. Plan on showing up at 7:30am to take advantage of his expertise and meet him. His pricing is competitive with local shops without the hassle and inconvenience of having to take and leave your bike. Online booking is available and minimum service amount is only $30. He also carries consumable type items for sale: tubes, chains, tires, etc.

See y’all soon!

This weekend’s rides: Bee Creek! Red Horn! Delayed Saturday start!

SRC,

It is time for some hills after our last couple of flat rides, so this Saturday we shall tackle our updated Bee Creek route (AKA Cozy Cove)! The route can be found here: https://www.strava.com/activities/432606065 (I have not yet converted it into an actual route, so you have to look at our last ride). After the ride, enjoy discounted burgers and beer with your pals at Lakeside! SPECIAL NOTE: the forecast shows that it will probably be freezing around our regular start time, so we will delay this ride 1 hour to 9:30 am from Cups & Cones.
