SRC Weekend Rides – Bee Creek and Lamppost!

**Weather Watch**
Saturday there will be two group ride levels leaving at different times (from Cups & Cones) – Faster Pace and Endurance Pace. We try to accommodate various levels of rider interest and recently there are folks seeking a more moderate paced and less total miles on Saturdays. We hope that this will attract area riders who want to learn group riding at a moderate pace.
• Faster Pace 7:30am ride will down south to Bee Creek and include Bob Wire on the route for ~62 miles at 18-20 mph avg. Get the route here: https://www.strava.com/routes/11698146

• Endurance Pace Group leaves at 8:00am this week and we will be doing the Triple B’s, an SRC Classic. We scouted the road conditions on Wednesday, September 5th and Lime Creek was in good condition for riding. This route is mostly flat, but with some rollers and a few climbs including the climb out of Steiner and the Triple B’s. You are looking at 1,900 feet of elevation over 38 miles and an average pace of 14-17 mph. This is a NO DROP ride but you are expected to have some basic level of fitness. After the ride, we meet up at Lakeside for some discounted breakfast tacos, burgers and beer!

Sunday is our usual coffee shop ride to Lamppost starting at 7:30am from C&C. It is 50 miles and is at an endurance pace typically finishing around a 17mph average speed. While we make great efforts to keep the group together, with a few re-group points, this is NOT a no drop ride. The route can be found here: https://www.strava.com/routes/11766829
